In any of these cases there is only one right answer: a medication lock box. Furthermore, petty thieves in nursery homes and other care facilities may have set their eyes on certain costly medication that you’d rather not get stolen. Mixing up medicine isn’t the only problem: curious kids can get their hands on some dangerous stuff, not to mention that elderly people often struggle to remember the correct dosage of their medication. But we often forget that no matter what the medicine contains, they must be secured: it’s easy to leave a strong painkiller next to a vitamin bottle, and you may end up taking the wrong pill, leading to poisoning. Medicine is part of our life: we have plenty of vitamins, pills and supplements lined up on our shelves.
